Recently, the DEDUC team successfully hosted a testing session in Porto to evaluate the usability and overall user experience of our simulation game.

During the session, participants had the opportunity to explore three different interaction scenarios involving people living with dementia and their caregivers. Their experiences and feedback provided valuable insights into the usability, clarity, realism, and overall learning experience offered by the simulation. The feedback gathered during the testing session will contribute directly to the ongoing refinement of the game, helping the DEDUC team identify areas for improvement and further adapt the scenarios to users’ needs.

This user-centred approach is an important part of the development process, supporting our goal of creating an empathetic, realistic, and effective learning environment that helps caregivers better understand and respond to situations they may encounter when supporting people living with dementia.
