DEDUC Consortium Sets Priorities for the Final Project Phase at Its Eighth Online Meeting

On 11 September 2026, the DEDUC consortium held its eighth online meeting to assess the progress of the project and coordinate the activities planned for its final months.

Partners reviewed participation in the online dementia course, which has reached 376 enrolled learners, with 86 participants having already completed the course and received their certificates. The consortium agreed to strengthen its efforts to support learners in completing the training and to increase certification rates across all participating countries. The meeting also addressed the stakeholder survey, the preparation of the Transfer Handbook and Policy Recommendations, and the organisation of national multiplier events. Portugal’s multiplier event is scheduled for 30 October, while the remaining partners are finalising their respective dates. Finally, the consortium confirmed that the DEDUC Final Conference will take place online on 4 December 2026. The event will present the project’s main results, bring together invited speakers from different countries and provide an opportunity to reflect on the contribution of DEDUC to dementia education and vocational training.
